B&B’s Lisa Yamada Weighs-In on ‘Grandma’ Sheila Carter and Luna’s New Ally Against Steffy Forrester (2025)

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), who has been pardoned for her crimes, comes upon her grandmother Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) while at Il Giardino. Luna informs Sheila of her big news, “Finn’s my father, that makes me your granddaughter.”

In the video preview for the action on all-new episodes the week of March 17-21, apparently, Sheila is overjoyed and plants a kiss on Luna’s mouth. The moment Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is going to dread for the rest of her life has happened, when these two psychopaths unite to ensure that Luna has a pathway to her father without any interference from Steffy!

With the Carter gene pool clearly in Luna (after all, she committed two murders, and kidnapped Steffy and locked her in a cage), and we won’t even begin the laundry list of Sheila Carter’s crimes over two soaps (B&B and Y&R), these two now become the dreaded and most feared duo in all of Los Angeles.

During Lisa Yamada’s recent visit to the Michael Fairman Channel following the moment that Luna learned she is Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) biological daughter, many questions were posed including Yamada’s reaction to the news, which got her thinking that, she would indeed, be having scenes with Kimberlin Brown!

Yamada shared, “When I found out that Finn’s my dad, I was like, ‘Oh my, God. I’m going to have scenes with Kimberlin.’ I mean, Luna and Sheila have never shared scenes yet, but behind the scenes, me and Kimberlin, we giggle and we chat it up all the time. Now when we come on set, she’s like, “You can’t call me, grandma. You have to call me Gigi.” I’m like, “OK, Gigi.” I think the characters are both crazy, but I think it’s going be sweet, because Sheila longs for a family and Luna longs for a family. Maybe, they can like lick each other’s wounds, you know.”

As far as Steffy Forrester and the future, Yamada expressed, “Steffy is not one to be messed with. If she can’t allow Sheila to be a part of Finn’s life, what makes you think that she’s going to allow Luna to be a part of Finn’s life? However, Luna’s not going to back down. I know that to be true.”

According to the official B&B teasers, Luna comes to Sheila with the news on today’s Monday, March 17th episode, “Luna approaches Sheila, seeking her alliance.”

This week on General Hospital, will a confession from Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) change the trajectory of her life with Chase (Josh Swickard), as well as the lives of Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Alexa Havins)? In the just-released ABC video preview for the action in Port Charles for episodes airing March 17-21, it appears Brook Lynn is sitting Chase down for a heart-to-heart. She says, “I never told you who my baby’s father was.” Will she get out the truth that its Chase’s best friend, Dante?

Elsewhere, after Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) appeared outside of Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room on last Friday’s cliffhanger, inside, the WSB bureau chief and Carly (Laura Wright) are about to have some champagne, when Brennan notices something and swats it away from her, and later she seems to pass out. Did Valentin poison the champagne, or is something else at play here? If you recall, Valentin still believes that it is Brennan who sent the sniper that almost killed him in Prague.

Later, someone is ransacking Valentin’s former home which is now inhabited Sonny (Maurice Benard). The person dressed in black grabs a passport. However, the mob boss comes upon the scene and pulls out a gun. Sonny says, “Going somewhere?” Is it Valentin who is digging around or someone else?

This week on The Young and the Restless, after Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Billy (Jason Thompson) along with Chance (Conner Floyd), provided the heroics and saved Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) from their unknown captor, and after Traci (Beth Maitland) sees Alan’s (Christopher Cousins) cell phone which sent a notification that there is a security breach at the clinic, what will be the upshot?

In all-new episodes airing the week of March 17-21, old feelings seem to be bubbling to the surface for Nick and Sharon. In fact, in the CBS video preview for the series, while at Crimson Lights, Sharon asks her ex-husband to be honest with her. She asks, “Do you ever think about us getting back together?” Will this be the moment ‘Shick’ fans everywhere have hoped for? A path forward to reunite Sharon and Nick after all these years, or will this just be a “no go” from Nick?

Meanwhile, if Billy ran to save Phyllis, could this mean that the two could wind up romantically closer as well? When talking with Summer (Allison Lanier), about who could have kidnapped her and Sharon, Phyllis says, “Whoever did it is a total whack-job!”

Speaking of “whack-jobs,” Alan sees Traci with his phone where she looks completely baffled. He sternly asks, “What are you doing?” Traci looks surprised by his disposition. Will she put two and two together before it’s too late; that the man she just got engaged to is either Alan’s back-from-the-dead twin, Martin or Alan gone off the rails? Stay tuned.

Next week on Beyond the Gates, what will happen when it appears that Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) might be more mentally unstable than we think as well as firefighter Derek (Ben Gavin)? Is the supposed good guy’s trauma to his head, causing him to be delusional after envisioning his girlfriend Ashley (Jen Jacob) and photographer Andre (Sean Freeman) making out right before him?

Meanwhile, Hayley (Marquita Goings) and Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) are heading back to their home following their abridged honeymoon and Dani has passed out drunk on their couch.
